More About Me
I have always made a conscious effort to steer my career away from professions that focus solely on monetary goals. I decided to become a therapist because I find fulfillment in helping others find peace and happiness however that may look for them. I am a huge proponent of self-determination and specialize in helping teens and young adults find their voice and path in the world.
Experience
I have worked in the social work field for almost 20 years, and have helped those experiencing domestic violence, substance abuse, postpartum depression, and child welfare involvement. I have spent a large portion of my career working with children and teenagers who struggle with mental health issues, from depression and anxiety to major family conflicts, substance abuse, and criminal activity.
I am passionate about guiding couples, families, and co-parents through the difficulties that arise in relationships and while raising children. My personal journey and professional experiences allow me to provide helpful insight and movement toward peace and compromise.
Education
I received a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Utah. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, watching horror movies, and copiously celebrating holidays.
