Experience and Education
She has extensive experience in residential and transitional living programs, psychiatric behavioral hospitals, schools, and the justice system. Heidi is deeply committed to supporting individuals and families in becoming healthier and happier.
As a forensically trained therapist with specialized training from the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), Heidi provides court-informed therapy, including family systems therapy, co-parenting therapy, and Safe Harbor therapy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Substance Abuse Treatment. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration, drawing from a variety of techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
