Matthew Randak is a Social Work Intern dedicated to supporting individuals through contemporary mental health challenges and broader systemic concerns. They are deeply committed to advocating for marginalized communities, recognizing the rich and complex intersections that shape each person’s lived experience. With a multicultural approach to mental health, Matt values inclusivity, cultural awareness, and creating spaces where every identity feels seen and affirmed. They are especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ populations, validating queer identities and fostering environments rooted in authenticity and acceptance. Matt is also attentive to the existential grief and uncertainty that often accompany today’s rapidly shifting world, helping clients explore meaning, hope, and resilience in the midst of it.
Experience and Education
Matt is currently pursuing their Master of Social Work at the University of Utah. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Westminster University. For the past four years, Matt has worked as a Ketamine Integration Guide at Restorative Health, where they have supported individuals throughout their healing journeys. Through that role, Matt has had the privilege of listening to thousands of personal stories related to both physical and mental health. These experiences have refined their empathy, deepened their intuition, and strengthened their commitment to walking alongside others with compassion and respect.
Personal Invitation
I am passionate about supporting and advocating for people from all identities and backgrounds. I believe our individuality—shaped by our environments, experiences, and cultures—is something to be honored. I’ve learned that simply listening with a kind ear and an open heart can make a profound difference. I am open to both conventional and contemporary paths to healing and self-discovery. We are all trying to navigate a challenging, confusing world, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
