I look forward to meeting my clients where they are and working together to create a treatment plan for where my clients want to be. I have experience working with substance use, and the LGBTQi+ community with knowledge of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) ethical guidelines for care, depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD, as well as other mental health issues.
I have a wide range of tools to utilize to meet my client’s needs such as knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Change Therapy (ACT), and other ethical and scientific-based approaches. I am a part of the Utah Mental Health Counseling Association (UMHCA) and follow the American Mental Health Counselors Association Code of Ethics (AMHCA) as well as abide by the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics.
I also have a therapy dog named Miliana that I invited into some of my sessions to help clients find their voice, be comforted, and help aid the therapeutic process.
I’m passionate about facilitating a space for my clients to be heard, recognized, acknowledged, and empowered to take control of their present and feel confident in meeting their future. I open my services up to anyone in the community with who I can align with a therapeutic relationship.
